There’s a new map of the US that shows where the pot smokers are and suggests San Francisco is the cannabis capital.
A new report by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) asked 204,000 respondents to describe their marijuana use from 2012-2014. The survey found that over 15% of residents of San Francisco above the age of 12 smoke pot each month… the highest percentage in the US.
Pot smoking is the most popular on the West Coast and the Northeast while people in the middle-section of the country and South Texas aren’t big fans of the drug.
