- Independent film, The Year of the Dog, will be showing at the South Haven Michigan Theatre starting February 24th – March 9th. In honor of the actual rescue dog starring in the movie, 5% of all ticket sales in South Haven will be donated to Al-Van!
- Reduced Fee Spay/Neuter Day for low income families of Van Buren and Allegan counties. Al-Van is partnering with Dr. Bader of Jimbabwe Acres to provide $50 spay and $25 neuter services for cats. Surgery day is March 13th, and there are spaces for 15 males and 15 females, which will be filled first come, first served. Please stop by the adoption center to fill out paperwork. You must provide a w-2 or bridge card as proof of low income status.
