A Paw Paw area business has been featured as one of three Stories of Inspiration at the Pure Michigan Governors Conference on Tourism in Novi.
The conference took place this week and featured Governor Gretchen Whitmer as the keynote speaker. Destination Paw Paw tells us she mentioned Paw Paw as one of Michigan’s standout destinations, and Jason Deibler-Love took the stage with Kelly Wolgamott, Vice President of Pure Michigan, to share the story behind The Lucky Wolf.
Started by Jason and his wife, India Love, and located in the former Paw Paw Playhouse, the Lucky Wolf is a space for connection through music, arts, and mental health support. Jason told the conference it was his wife’s passion project, with a goal to create a space that would be welcoming to everybody. She died by suicide in 2023, and since, Jason has continued to honor India’s vision by ensuring The Lucky Wolf remained a cultural hub and safe space for the community.
Destination Paw Paw Director Jennifer Sistrunk says The Lucky Wolf has helped to drive growth in visitors, business, and job creation.
The annual Pure Michigan Governor’s Conference of Tourism brings together industry professionals from across the state.
