Tonight at 7pm in California, in front of the Rainbow Bar & Grill, a life sized statue of Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister will be unveiled.
LA Weekly released a sneak peak of the bottom half of the statue about a week ago. The statue is based of the infamous picture of Lemmy taken by Robert John.
Los Angeles based artist Travis Moore sculpted an 18 inch maquette that has been turned into the life sized version being revealed tonight. You can look at a time lapse video of that creation below.
