Be kind to one another. That’s the word from Presque Isle County Sheriff Joe Brewbaker.

Brewbaker says there are still many without power after the ice storms.

We understand that now there’s threats being made towards utility companies and the linemen, whether it be online or in person, all the way up to death threats for some people’s power not being on,” Brewbaker said. “We cannot have that and those could be criminal charges for making threats towards those utility workers.”

Brewbaker posted a video on Facebook and says the utility companies are working as fast as they can to restore power. He reminds people that the ice storm has been compared to a Category 5 hurricane.
